Hi everyone have been away for a while very busy and have just managed to catch up with DA again. So sorry for not thanking everyone who has favoured or collected one of my pictures. I am grateful to each and everyone of you thank you all so much xxxx I promise I will get around to thanking you all personally soon xxx I've been so busy with things in my life the past couple months that I've hardly done any art which I miss greatly. I am currently working on one project which is a pencil drawing to give to my mum and dad for their golden wedding on 28 July. Other than that haven't got anything else on the go.  Have lots of ideas but no time

So Christmas and New Year came and went so fast again as usual! I had saved up before Christmas and bought myself a lovely Panasonic Lumix G2 camera from eBay. I am so happy with it and plan to learn to use it properly and not rely on auto!! I have already taken some photos I am very happy with (including the jaguar one I have just uploaded). I am currently working on a coloured pencil portrait of my son based on a recent photo I took of him collecting stones on the beach (on a very cold day !!). Its coming along nicely but slowly! Hope you are all well and i wish everyone the best for 2012 xxx

So realised I hadn't put a new journal entry for ages so here's an update!  I have a new job as a carer at a home nee where I live which I am really enjoying :-) I have been so busy that doing art is very slow at the moment but have managed a few more prismacolor tests. Decided I needed a new camera and wanted one with interchangeable lenses but couldn't afford a new one so this week I was lucky enough to win a Panasonic Lumix G2 body in one auction on eBay and a 14-42 mm lensin a separate auction. Can't wait to play with them :-). Wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday season xxx
